That title made it sound like "oh yeah this year out of all the other years I have blogged", but no, it has just been this one year. Actually this is give or take a day or two about when I started last year. Happy Blogging Anniversary to me!!!
So anyhoo, I looked at my oh-so-numerous-and-oh-so-interesting labels of blog posts to see what did I talk about this past year and apparently reality t.v. and ranting and bitching about nonsense were highest on my list. See why I have no readers? See why I have a handful of followers who don't read my blog but only are followers because I forced them into it? Who on earth wants to read about reality t.v. shows and the current things that irritate me? I guess just me. I did also have a high number of posts about my tea hoarding challenge, so that was at least educational for me.
This year I would like to challenge myself to get back to my compacty ways. I didn't blog near enough about the Compact and how this is the start of my 4th year in the Compact and I have fallen off the wagon and under the wagon and been run over by said wagon back and then forth. I don't know what happened but I have been walking in to retail establishments, picking up items, carrying them around, and then all the sudden poof! Here comes my AMEX card and there I go with yet another store-boughten item. Bad behavior that needs to get under control RIGHT NOW, missy!
Maybe I wouldn't blog about reality t.v. shows so much if I didn't WATCH so flipping many of them? Hmmm??? What would I do with all those extra hours? Maybe clean house? Maybe get to organizing? Maybe force Mr. Big Ed to step away from his mistress, the love of his life, his computer and oh, I don't know, interact with me and the family? Might that be an option? Bwahahahahahhahahahah!!! Not a chance in hell! Better stick with Survivor, Amazing Race and Big Brother. : )
Here is my promise to all two of you who are reading this and care: (raising right hand) I promise to do a better job of giving you something better and more interesting to read and mull over this year. Maybe not every single post, but certainly better than this past year. I will do that and you could promise to comment now and again if the spirit moves you. Deal? Deal.
p.s. I will also figure out how to get my camera connected to my fabulicious new 24 inch iMac and make this thing more beautiful to look at.

ReplyDeleteAnd I'll hold you more accountable to the Compact if you hold ME accountable. I have shopped like a fiend this past weekend. OK...it WAS all food and toiletries but I have seriously gone waaaaay over the Jan. budget--especially since tons of my rebates have NOT come in during Jan. so I can't use those to plump up my Jan. budget. sigh

ReplyDeleteI do read your blog all the time. I don't watch any of those shows and am a little horrified at your obits talk. But, I cannot turn away and keep coming back for more. The whole blog is very entertainin, informative, and addictive. So, I suppose you are successful at blogging? I don't know. Linda P, yes, it is I.
