The new cast of the upcoming season of Dancing with the "Stars" has been announced!

Here it is:

• Ricki Lake (Former talk show host/actress)
• Rob Kardashian (Kim Kardashian's brother)
• Chaz Bono (Transgender advocate)
• Kristin Cavallari ("The Hills" star, pictured above)
• Chynna Phillips (Wilson Phillips)
• David Arquette (Actor)
• Elisabetta Canalis (George Clooney's ex)
• Nancy Grace (News anchor)
• Hope Solo (Soccer player)
• Ron Artest (Los Angeles Lakers player)
• J.R. Martinez ("All My Children" star)
• Carson Kressley ("Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" star)

Carson Kressley!!!  Can you believe it?  I adore him!  Yay for Carson!

And don't you love how Rob Kardashian and Elisabetta Canalis have to have someone else's name in their bio to explain how they got to be considered as "Stars"??

Looks like a good cast and I am excited about it.  Now we have to figure out who is going to be paired up with which professional dancer.

I bet they give that obnoxious pain in the ass Nancy Grace to Maks.  That would be hilarious footage to watch him yelling at her.

Rumor has it that Derek Hough is going to be back this season.  They will probably give him Chynna Phillips or the chick from The Hills.

Who in the world will they give to Carson?  Maybe Kim Johnson?  or Cheryl Burke?  Hopefully not Karina Smirnoff.  I won't be able to stand it if she yells at him.

Alright, so they announced the new cast of DWTS.  I don't know why the casting people can't seem to remember that the name of the show is Dancing with the STARS, not Dancing with the Has-Beens, Losers, Wanna-Be's and people we have never heard of show.

Did you see the cast yet?  Now, they haven't told us yet who will be paired with which dancing pro, so that could improve how this season will shake out.

The two names that jumped right out as people that could be considered "stars" are Kirstie Alley and Ralph  "The Karate Kid who seems to have had too much botox" Macchio.  There is another person that I have seen on t.v. before named Wendy Williams who has a show on BET.  Personally, I always thought she was a trannie.

Then the usual one or two athletes led by Sugar Ray Leonard.  After that, I have no clue who these people are.  Do you?  Give me some scoop on them, please.

I am waiting to see who gets paired up with whom before I get excited (or depressed) BUT!  I will tell you this, I am betting dollars to donuts that they try to stick Maks with Kirstie.  She's known for being loud, opinionated and feisty.  Pairing her up with Maks will make for some great practice footage.
